Management Committee
“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.” OFSTED October 2018
“Throughout the IQM Flagship review process, it was clear that the Executive Head’s leadership inspired and supported others. The Chair of the Management Committee was extremely knowledgeable and brought his expertise as an experienced retired Headteacher of two schools to help guide the vision. It was a pleasure to witness such passion and sense of purpose from a Leader who showed resilience, resourcefulness, responsiveness and reflectiveness in abundance.” IQM 2020
Kettlebrook and Burton PRU were Federated in April 2018. They have a very dedicated and committed group of governors who have a wide range of experience in education and industry who supports and challenges the Headteacher and her team of staff to ensure that rapid sustainable progress is made at all levels to empower each of our students to achieve the social and academic success that each of them deserve.
The Management Committee has the following members and their key roles as link governors to our school. We meet once a term for a full Management Committee meeting and then at least once a term for each of our two sub committees: Teaching and Learning – Curriculum & student progress; Business – Finance; Staffing; Health & Safety. All Governors have voting rights, except the Head of School who is an Associate Governor with no voting rights.

Burton PRU & Kettlebrook Short Stay School have become the East Staffordshire & Tamworth PRUs Federation, where the Management Committee has a variety of expertise in education and in industry. We are always looking to expand our group to include other volunteers who want to support our students in our school and ensure that they get the best provision. If you are interested – please contact Mrs K Rogers via either school.
