Children in Need 2017
On Friday 17th November, staff and students took part in fundraising activities to support this year’s Children in Need.
Starting the schools fundraising events was the Staff V Students football match. It was a very close game, all got involved either playing or supporting and the final score was 11-8 to staff. Everyone felt like a winner though and it was an enjoyable start to the morning.
A round robin of events saw students baking, playing spotty themed games, having Henna Art and face painting. A collaborative art project started on the day, produced some wonderful spotty themed pieces of artwork and these will be displayed up and around school over the coming days.
To end the appeal, there was a coffee morning and Tombola. With an array of delicacies to buy, washed down with cups of tea and prizes galore to be won, everyone saw the morning out having had a successful event. On counting our fundraising efforts, the school and its coffee morning guests raised an awesome £220.
Everyone’s efforts need to be praised and thanked.
Well done all!
